Braes Avenue (Whitecrook) Community Play Facility

This project is to renovate a community play area in Whitecrook which has fallen into disrepair over many years and suffered a great deal of vandalism, leaving it unsafe for use. In its present state it encourages anti-social behaviour and gangs of young people congregate in this area. A new community centre is being built across the road from this disused play area and the community are now united in wanting to restore this facility as it will provide flexible outdoor facilities which can be used by young people from the area as well as further afield
