Brentor Village Hall Refurbishment Phase 1

The existing poor quality extensions, which are extremely cold and damp and include a flat roof and flaking asbestos sheeting, demolished. They will be replaced with a new and slightly larger extension to provide an entrance lobby, a hygienic, catering standard kitchen, toilets (including baby changing facilities) and a store incorporating a secure storage area. Work will also be carried out to the main hall to prevent further deterioration. The hall will also be rewired. The new extension will be constructed in such a way that when the main hall has to be replaced (it was built in 1912 with a timber frame construction with corrugated sheeting cladding and is nearing the end of its life) it will be incorporated into the second phase of development.
