Bridgwater Cornhill Building Restoration

The Cornhill project lies at the heart of the Bridgwater Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) which is a five year regeneration scheme for the town centre based on the Conservation Area. It is a grade one listed building, from 1824, and historically is the focus of the towns social and economic life. It is targeted for a regeneration scheme to complement other initiatives in the town centre and the THI, and considerable investment has already been mase as context to this scheme hich includes an enhancement scheme for the adjoining High Street and cleaning of the building. Completion of the scheme for the building will represent a long term contribution to the sustainability and attraction of the town centre
