Brill – Windmill Restoration

Essential structural and internal repairs to 16th Century Windmill. Emergency repairs are currently underway to the fabric of the building. This project seeks to follow up on these by transforming the internal space as best as possible into a well-interpreted historical attraction. Included in the project is the supply of hand-held digital milti-media veiwer to enableto display a photographic ‘virtual Tour’ of the upper levels to anyone who can not negotiate the steps. The project includes the proposal to provide a single exterior interpretation panel. An updated interpretation leaflet/booklet will be published, together with some small display boards and name panels for its machinery.
