Brilliant Birdwatching at Brockholes

This project is to install two timber-built bird viewing screens at Brockholes Nature Reserve, thus benefiting both native birds and our visitors. The aim is to provide visitors with close views of birds that they might otherwise only see or hear at distance, and so better engage with the reserve’s wildlife. The project would represent an expansion from our only current but popular viewing screen on the Guild Wheel, enabling visitors to bird watch over Meadow Lake and its islands. The screens are designed to provide a range of viewing slots for people of all ages and heights, including people in wheelchairs and with push chairs.
