Bringing Nature Closer

Connecting people with nature is receiving increasing support from health bodies for improving public health and wellbeing. The project will restore ditches on three floodplain meadows to attract wildlife. The Grant will fund clearing trees and scrubs to create better flyways for birds to access newly-created pools, and to construct viewing platforms. Through this work the project will improve biodiversity in the park and maximise public enjoyment and access to the meadows, Bringing Nature Closer for visitors and the local community.
