Bringing Warmth to the Heart of St Laurence Church, Parochial Church Council of St Laurence Parish Church, Stroud

The project is to install six radiant halo heaters at St Laurence Church in Stroud. St Laurence plans to install energy efficient heating to ensure it is warm and welcoming to all who attend services and events during colder months (typically late September to early May). The current gas boiler is not fit for purpose and breaks down often, making the church uncomfortably cold or even unusable. Six radiant halo heaters will replace current light fittings with energy efficient LED lighting and “as required” heat in the nave of the church. A church must be more than welcoming in spirit, it must be warm and inviting. St Laurence
sits at the heart of Stroud and with reliable, economical, and environmentally sustainable
heating in the central nave, the church becomes a versatile space that can be comfortably
used year-round, promoting social interaction, and strengthening community bonds.
