Bristol Old Vic Redevelopment

Bristol Old Vic is now being redeveloped. The auditorium, built in 1766, is one of the finest examples of a Georgian theatre still in existence. It forms part of the magnificent Grade I Listed Bristol Old Vic, which is being redeveloped to support our new vision.

As part of the redevelopment we are creating a new additional performance and rehearsal space in our paintshop. This will allow a diverse range of opportunities in live theatre as well as education, outreach and community projects.

Our intention is to make Bristol Old Vic fit for purpose in the 21st Century, whilst not disturbing the significant heritage aspects of the building.
