Briton Ferry Dock - Conservation of Accumulator Tower

The project will conserve a historic tower listed by CADW for its industrial archaeological interest and association with Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The work was identified in a recent feasibility study (project no 091128.032). The building is a local landmark and has been the subject of community interest for a number of years. The scheme will consolidate the tower as part of a longer-term approaach by the council to enhance the dock environment and raise public awareness of the industrial heritage of the area
