Broadgreen, Liverpool – Providing greenspace for all (006722)

This project will upgrade currently unused land to create a green amenity for patients, staff, visitors and the local community. The identified space is at the heart of the Broadgreen hospital site. The upgraded area will include raised planting areas, an outdoor gym and a contemplative garden. This project will open up the area and make the space accessible to all. By encouraging local community groups to use the outdoor gym equipment and asking for their support to maintain the planting areas, the project will also provide an opportunity for the hospital to promote health and wellbeing to members of the community who would not normally visit the hospital.
