Broadhurst Community Wetland Dipping Platform

Broadhurst Community Wetland was created in 2006. Open water areas – a scrape, a pond and a ditch were dug out in previously wet grassland. The site was used mainly by dog walkers and as a cut through between roads, but now has much more wildlife interest. In order to maximise benefit of this habitat enhancement for the local community access by way of an accessible pathway and pond dipping platform is required. This will enable safe direct access to water life for local families and others
