Brockholes

Through the development of a single site, Brockholes Nature Reserve, we will aim to enhance the provision of onsite amenities and spaces. With a Lancashire Wildlife Trust staff member supervising, we will achieve this by carrying out habitat management, maintenance and access tasks. The 250 acre reserve is a disused quarry with lakes and ponds, marshland, reed beds, meadows, woodlands and an ancient woodland. The reserve hosts a wide variety of community activities, such as weddings, educational sessions, conservation, play areas and exercise.
