Bromborough Dock Landfill Site

Bromborough Dock landfill site is due to close in August 2006 and Biffa Waste Services Ltd as part of the planning requirments are obliged to restore the site to community green space. Groundwork Wirral aim to secure LFT funding to enable the site to be enhanced beyond the minimum planning requirements to help it meet the aspirations of the local community. The project will be developed in partnership with Biffa Waste Services Ltd. who are owners of the site and local community groups. The aim is to create a site that will become the focus for community leisure and recreation.
