Brooklyn Crescent Park Restoration Project

Restoration of Brooklyn Crescent park to improve the pathway which is currently inaccessible in wet weather, and install new benches and bins. The wider objective is to encourage the local community to visit and enjoy the park, using it for exercise, relaxation and the conservation of wildllife. The Friends of Brooklyn Crescent park have already raised funding to carry out tree management work and plant native species to convert the area into a nature classroom for use by local schools, and to purchase a noticeboard to help promote the park and their work.
