Broomhill Methodist Centre, Sheffield – Replacement Lift, Solar Battery Storage and Inverter (008167)

The lift is 28 years old, does not meet current accessibility criteria, and breaks down often. Replacement of the lift will ensure a fully accessible building. The installation an inverter and battery storage will enable the organisation to store the energy created by the already installed solar panels for use in the building reducing reliance on fossil fuels and their carbon footprint. Also included in the costs are creating a be-spoke play area (mini Broomhall) for the children and the installation of a climbing wall for older children and families.
