Broughton Community Education Room

It is proposed to construct a Community Education Room as part of a new building in the grounds of Broughton Primary School providing public access for more than 104 days throughout the year for broadly based educational purposes. A partnership with a local further education college will offer evening/day classes and a University of the Third Age group is planned. The room will be equipped with internet access, audio-visual equipment and a Community Education Manager appointed. Broughton Pre-school Playgroup, a registered charity, will use it. Courses will be offered for parents plus a breakfast club and after school care.
