Broughton Miners Welfare Hall Refurbishment

The aim of this project is to improve the hall which was constructed in 1924. The building is of timber construction with a tiled roof. Little work has been carried out over the last 20 years and considerable works of repair and improvement are required to bring the property up to a decent standard.

Structural repairs have already been completed and the present electrical installation tested and found to be in need of some improvements.

The committee wish to:

* Improve toilets
* Improve kitchen area
* Upgrade electrical system
* Insulate
* Access improvements
* Redecorate
* Fit suspended ceiling
* Fit new windows
