Brownhills Road Recreation Park, Cannock – Skatepark Refurbishment (4985/D)

The current skatepark which is used daily has been installed for over 14 years and requires new equipment to replace worn out, tired and unsafe equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety requirements and provide a safe environment for the young people to play in. The current equipment will be removed, the area will need some resurfacing work and will incorporate 6 new pieces of equipment. This will provide positive activities for young people within their own community. If this facility is not provided in their own community the young people have to travel to other areas which often prohibits some young people accessing this type of facility due to cost. This then prohibits young people to be part of their own community in the future.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the skatepark refurbishment.
