Brunts Community Performing Arts and Media Centre

Our application is for capital funding to build a community performing arts and media centre on the Brunts Campus in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
The Brunts performing arts and media centre will fill a gap in local, regional and national provision. It will be a flagship venue with a varied and vibrant arts programme that will provide:-
A medium scale venue receiving professional work by touring companies of national repute including those employing disabled and deaf performers and crew.
A venue for community work which currently struggles to find appropriate, accessible workshop and performance space.
A training and education provision for young people, including those currently disenfranchised by provision which fails to take into account the requirements for disabled and deaf people.
An emphasis on access particularly for disabled and deaf people and on young people.
