BTCV GREEN GYM ALLANTON SANTUARY

BTCV Green Gym aim to develop the Allanton Santuary Walled garden to provide immediate opportunities for public health improvement, learning and education as well as developing a place to do so in the future. The Green Gym participants will help to reinstate the one acre walled organic garden which will then be used as a showcase to provide inspiration to individuals, communities and schools to develop their own food growing projects. The public will be able to access the grounds at Allanton Sanctuary at any time and use the 840 metres of pathway which are being enhanced and created. A programme of biodiversity training days and events for the general public will be delivered in the Walled Garden and the wider grounds.
