BTYC Sailsports - Clubhouse Development

The refurbishment of the clubhouse in order to accommodate a growing range of activities for an increasing diversity of users. Increasing the provision for disabled sailing is hampered by the lack of level access to our clubhouse, and by the absence of any wheelchair-accessible changing, toilet and shower facilities. The work is consistent with the concept of recycling, giving good value for money by ensuring continued but re-energised use of an existing asset. These will comprise the introduction of thermal insulation, new uprated glazing elements, external cladding and roofing from a renewable source and heating and control gear to improve the current use of energy in the operation of the clubhouse.
