Buckley Theatre Club

This project is simply the purchsse of the Theatre Club Building from the local authority and its vesting in the club. The club building is a post war prefabricated building in concrete, brickwork and sheeted roof and was previously used as a community centre. It has been leased to the Theatre Club by Flintshire County Council and is now a fully equiped theatre used extensively for amateur dramatics by the club. The council are now prepared to sell the building to the club at a ‘below value’ price.
The Theatre Club had a previous Lt grant in 2001 (£12,665) for equipment and meets all the public accessability criteria normally expected.
