Building a Better Future

The aim of the project is to develop the existing park by improving the infra-structure giving greater appeal to the wider community and increase the biodiversity through a sustainable wildlife project. After consultation with the district council, schools, park users, churches, local businessess and scouts, it is proposed to improve lighting and footpaths, add more benches, wildlife sculptures, planting and bat boxes with mercury vapour lighting to encourage moths.
