Building refurbishment Redcar Baptist Church

The project includes a replacement of the current kitchen, the fitting of an air conditioning unit and the installation of 3 hand dryers (on in the male, female and disabled toilets)
The aim of the project is to improve the facilities we have so that we can work better to ensure the community get the best out of the building.
The kitchen is used mon-fri 9-3 by the community coffee shop, it is also permanently accessible to our volunteers. The kitchen is also used by community groups who use the building. We have room hire available to anyone who wishes to hire the space and the kitchen can be included in this hire (eg a birthday party could hire the space for £17 per hour).
The air conditioning unit will be installed in the coffee shop and will serve both the coffee shop area and community grocery area. Both of these areas of the building are used by the public mon-Friday from 9am-4:30pm. The air-conditioning will mean that the space is accessible and useable whatever the weather,
