Bulphan Village Hall, Essex - Replacement Hall Floor (008086)

The main hall floor is the one originally installed when the hall was built in 1964 and over the years it has been well-maintained, with regular resealing and sanding and sealing. It now has deep scratches, large knot holes and gaps between the boards. The works include the removal and renewal of the floor to ensure that the building can continue be the hub of the community. Organisations using the hall range from mother and baby exercise classes, Stay & Play sessions, Open Meetings of Bulphan Village Community Forum, Women's Institute, Short Mat Bowls, Karate, yoga, 3 faith groups, dog training as well as local/private celebrations. The organisation would also like to install a water boiler to the kitchen providing better facilities for all users. The organisation would also like to install a water boiler to heat the water plus a hot water dispenser for tea/coffees providing better facilities for all users.
