Burkinshaw's Covert - Phase 2

Works to improve the management of extensive areas of the site, improving the structure of the woodland for wildlife, and creating or restoring further associated habitat such as woodland, rides, glades and hedgerows. The proposed works will also enable improved control of the non-native species which are harming the site, notably the hybrid poplar which is regenerating vigorously in places.
