Burn O’Fochabers – Flood Restoration Works – Phase 3

To restore and protect the Burn Banks at the Mouth of the Burn where it meets the River Spey which were extensively damaged by the flood in September 2009, erect concrete abutments fro pedestrian footbridge which has received partial funding from the Moray Council Landfill Operator in April 2011. Fell dangerous trees together with removal of felled timber in Zone 6. The installation of new footpaths associated with the new Pedestrian Footbridge (all to all amenity standards) Replacement of sections of the Perimeter Fence and provision of Picnic Tables and Seats.
