Burrow Beck Play Park

The project will create a shared, designed playable public realm on Hala Recreation Ground (currently an underused expanse of open space with mature trees and Burrow Beck running through it).

Proposed improvements:

Enhance and improve access and entrance (235m of hoggin path, 2m wide); a new play bridge spanning Burrow Beck to improve access, enhance use a play value.

Equipment: Playdale Trim Trail, basket swing, existing toddler swing to be reused.

Landscape features and planting: large boulders, open spaces, planting (trees and wild flower areas), land form/mounds (to create landscape interest and play value, also for bmx use); two large sand areas (each 450m2).
