Burton Riggs Community Project

This project aims to encourage more community involvement and enjoyment of the site by providing a safer, more comfortable experience whilst visiting. Antisocial behaviour will lesson as more responsible visitors frequent and look after the site on the behalf of the Trust. This will be achieved through vital infrastructure works such as fencing and path restoration, and the provision of seating and information boards. It will be advertised by the development of 5000 reserve specific leaflets that will be distributed throughout the locality, and through local media such as papers, radio and the reserve section of the Wildlife Trust Website.
