Buxton RUFC Phase 2 Recovery Plan

During the last 20 years although there has been some investment into Buxton RUFC Clubhouse, the facilities have not been maintained well enough to enable and encourage the local community to participate in rugby and other sports and social events, that realise anywhere near the site potential and strategic importance to the local community. This project is essential for the continuation of both the Club and its development to serve the local community in particular the district of Harpur Hill. The work involve:
1) Purchase a suitable Mowing Machine.
2) Upgrade existing floodlights to LED playing quality.
3) Install central heating to clubhouse and renovate showers
4) Install Solar panels and/or heat pump heating.
5) Renovate disabled access (existing lift) or install stairlift
6) Glass in under canopy to increase security and make a lounge area.
7) Insulate Loft.
