Byron Road Youth and Community Hub

Colne Youth Action Group have recently acquired the former youth zone building in Colne with the aim of transforming the building into a Youth and Community Hub and as a base the current community and youth work they undertake.

The works will include remodelling the internal layout of the building to make more functional and flexible spaces for different users. Works will include creating a larger kitchen area to catering standards, enlarging the main function area into a larger activity space, improving the toilets and creating a children’s nursery space. The LCF funds will be used for kitchen and main function/activity space works. The project is located in a deprived area as defined by the Index of Multiple Deprivation for England.
