Cabbage Hall Community Garden, Cabbage Hall Allotments Association/St Helens Council

This is a project to establish a community garden at Cabbage Hall Allotments in St Helens. The works will entail the installation of a portkabin for use as a classroom/meeting room and a composting toilet. The site will be wheelchair friendly, with full access to the entire area, with well made paths, raised beds at the appropriate height and a ramp into the composting toilet and classroom.The project will be used for recreation and educational purposes, used for holding a range of workshops, presentations, activities and guest speakers for both adult and children’s groups. It would be particularly utilised during school holidays for activities including crafts, gardening, and other outdoor pursuits, encouraging children to enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment.
