Caergwlre Castle – Access Path Repair

The castle site is accessed by a very steep, uneven and loose surfaced path which is difficult for the public to negotiate. There is also a drainage problem and surface material is washed off in heavy rain. Low key solutions have been tried and failed. This scheme is therefore to resurface the path in tarmac and resin bonded materials.
It is also proposed to provide visitor information boards and waymakers.
