Cafe Refurbishment

Entry System – we will install an inclusive access system to our main public entrance to ensure that everyone can get to, into, and around our facility independently. The current entry system includes large heavy doors which only open one way. This is very difficult for wheelchair users, pushchairs or people with other mobility issues. Servery Counter – We will install a new cafe serving area to replace our existing, outdated and poorly designed system. There are several issues, with our existing serving counter, which need to be updated to keep all our visitors, particularly children, safe. Access is difficult for wheelchair users, and children are often tempted to sit, or clamber on the stepped surface design. One main section of the counter is faulty and cannot be used at all The new counter will ensure that ‘everyone’ can use this space with ease and independence.
