Calderbank Footbridge - Woodland Walk

This project forms a strategic link within the North Lanarkshire Core Path Network. The aim is to form a safe pedestrian / cycle route connecting the towns of Airdrie and Coatbridge, via the Monkland Canal, across the M8 to the Eurocentral interchange which is a major employer in the area. The Calderbank Footbridge forms part of this route and is in a general state of disrepair to the point that it may be unsafe.
