The Callendar House Tearoom was located into the main House in 2013. The Purpose of this was to simultaneously increase the availability to the public by using the Large Drawing room, and to encourage more people into Callendar house itself, to enjoy the facilities and the events offered. Callendar house is a Grade A Listed Building originating from the 14th Century, centrally located in the Callendar Park which itself is a world heritage site, The Morning Room dates from the House extension in 1745, with period features from that time.
The Project aims to enhance the room for public use including flooring, Restoring period features in wood and leather, Buying in new bespoke furnishings and improving the lighting through fixtures and Mirrors.

The Tearoom operates as a method to improve footfall in Callendar House, and raises funds to assist in the maintenance of the building. Callendar house, operated by Falkirk Community Trust, offers many community events and amenities through ut the year.
