Calthwaite Nursery Games Room

The aim of the project is to convert an unused barn situated in the grounds of First Class Kids, into a games room to be used by the school aged children after school and during school holidays. Recent surveys have shown a demand for a holiday club for local 4-11 year olds. The village of Calthwaite does not have a community building so it is envisaged the building can be available for use by the community on an evening and weekends. As a not for profit organisation the charges for hire would be set to cover costs only. The questionnaire sent to parents via local schools showed an interest for using the building for birthday parties, a mother and toddler group and a youth club.
