Campton Plantation Access and Interpretation Project

The project will involve a variety of improvements to an area of publicly accessible woodland in Central Bedfordshire to encourage increased usage. The main work will be the creation of a sculpture trail; this will be formed of two totem poles, one at each of the main entrances to the site and four carved benches located on a circular route around the site. The sculptures will be created by chainsaw artists working with timber from a number of dead oak trees in the woodland. Other improvements include way marking of the circular trail and interpretation panels and the entrance points.
