Canal Connections – Torvean to Dochgarroch Towpath Link

The project will make significant upgrades to a canal towpath on the edge of Inverness city centre, from Torvean to Dochgarroch. This will create a circular route of almost 10km which will be an important amenity for local communities and tourists alike. The towpath forms part of the route of the Great Glen Way and the new National Cycle Network route 78, and provides a linking artery through the glen helping to connect people with place.
