Canley Brook Natural Play Area

Canley is a highly deprived neighbourhood in Coventry. Major regeneration plans have been drawn up for the area as a result of extensive community consultation. Local people prioritised improvements to local green space with a significant number highlighting the need for safe places to play. A parcel of green space located adjacent to a small brook that flows through the estate is seen to provide significant potential to build a new natural play area. Wren have agreed to provide the funding for this and the project will be one of the first tangible improvements to be led by Groundwork working with new community and youth groups formed during the consultation process.
