Canoe Steps on Upper river Bann, Stramore Park, Guildford

The proposed project will build on our existing resource - canoe steps on the river at (Katesbridge, Mulligans Bridge (Corbet), Solitude Park and Banbridge Leisure Centre, Banbridge) - by providing steps at the northern extent of the river in our area next to a new community and sports centre currently under construction at Stramore Park, Gilford. Gilford is a rural village located along the Upper River Bann approx. 5 miles west of the town of Banbridge. Stramore Park is an approx. 2.01 ha/4.97 acres area of open space located off the Stramore Road, on the west bank of the river.
