Canon Roche Pastoral Centre, Billericay – Refurbishment (005923)

When originally designed the hall was to be mainly used for ball games by school age children with not many other groups using the facility. Hence the bare brick walls, high ceiling and type of flooring installed.

However, over time this has now changed and this project will see the refurbishment of the small hall to ensure it reflects the requirements of the groups who now use it. It will be warmer, the sound for groups that have speakers or play music will improve and it will be a more pleasant and flexible venue for all to use.

The planned improvements will not only help meet the needs of the wide ranging groups but it will hopefully make the building more energy efficient by the installation of new radiators, better lighting and replacement windows.
