Canterbury Gardens Multi-Use Games Area

The Canterbury Gardens Estate has a vandalised, derelict and misused multi-use games area (MUGA), and due to this it is often the site for criminal activities. This results in the residents not having an outdoor recreation facility of any sort to use.

This project is to upgrade and bring back into use the MUGA. The project has arisen due to extensive consultation Groundwork Southwark has completed with residents on the estate. The project will also include running structured activities and coaching courses, which residents also highlighted as important during the consultation
