Cardiff Eco-Schools Project

The project seeks to promote Waste education through the Eco-Schools programme. The Eco-Schools Programme aims to raise pupils awareness of environmental and sustainable development issues through taking an active role in practical steps to reduce the environmental impact of the school. The project will concentrate on promoting and delivering the Litter and Waste Modules of the Eco-Schools programme and will involve the production of resources, visits to schools and INSET training for teachers. All schools involved in the project will commence with work on Litter and Waste modules. Keep Wales Tidy works with a range of partners on the Eco-Schools programme, the non-Waste elements are funded from other sources
