Carmel NNR Acquisition (2)

To help create larger areas of bumblebee-friendly habitat by undertaking restoration of wildlife-rich UKBAP grasslands at Carmel NNR, Carmarthenshire. Funding through the project will be provided (i) towards the purchase of 50.46 hectares of land at Cernydd Carmel SSSI/SAC and (ii) habitat work to restore semi-improved grasslands at Carmel, including by conservation grazing. A separate project (our ref 1521) will assist the land purchase.
