Carmen Museum Gallery

Carmen’s Hall is a development of the derelict Old School in Fleet Street, to create a museum and gallery, to provide transport education for public benefit. That objective is enshrined in the Royal charter of the Worshipful Company of Carmen, deeds of the Carmen’s Benevolent Trust and of the Carmen’s Heritage Trust. The Gallery is the principal lecture, seminar, exhibition and workshop venue. This project will equip/furnish the gallery area to be a public resource for education, meetings, lectures or workshops and a series of talks are already planned. It will compliment the museum on site as a further resource for educators planning a tour of the museum accompanied by a lecture or similar This is the third project on the site which Grundon Waste Management have funded, these had to be split into three as there were not sufficient funds to do this all at once.
