Carnock to Gowkhall footpath improvement

The project will create a multi-user footpath link between the village of Carnock and the nearby settlement of Gowkhall. There is an existing right of way linking the two but it is in poor condition and can only be accessed by the more committed walker. The path will form an important link and will be promoted as part of a wider initiative to encourage those in the local area to walk.The path may become part of the core path network, currently being developed. The path will be a facility to be used by all members of the public.
