Carr Vale Sand Martin Bank

The main project aim is to address the lack of nesting substrate by building an artificial one. A Sand Martin bank will provide a nesting habitat for these endangered species. The secondary aim is to re-profile and rejuvenate the wetland margins around the main pools of the reserve and an existing wet scrape area.
