Carrymoor Environmental Centre Access and Interpretation Project

This project will ensure that the key messages of Carrymoor Environmental Centre on waste, biodiversity and climate change reach as many people as possible. Visits made to the centre will be well catered for with accessible facilities and inspirational displays and information, with sustainable living as a thread throughout. As a nature reserve and environmental educational centre located on a restored landfill site, adjacent to an operational site, Carrymoor is designed as an example of low environmental impact, employing sustainable materials and renewable technologies. This project will have a key impact in enbling the Centre to fulfil its full potential.
