Carsington under Cover

This project will implement two improvements to Carsington Water to encourage year round use of the venue for a range of events / activities, thereby enabling improved engagement with the habitats and wildlife on site. Firstly a roundhouse shelter will be created - an aesthetically stunning work of art with a reciprocal roof offering shade and shelter from the weather and installed over the fire pit area in the outdoor classroom. Secondly the project will install 8 carved posts in the forest schools area which whilst sculpture features in themselves will also provide a means of fastening existing tarpaulin to create an all weather site when required.
